Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made from FLOK through our website.

In this policy, “FLOK”, “we”, “us” or “our” means:

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits, excludes or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot legally be limited, excluded or modified.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a refund, replacement or other remedy if a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, including where the product is faulty, unsafe, not as described, not of acceptable quality, or otherwise does not meet a guarantee that applies under law.

The remedy available may depend on whether the issue is major or minor.

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you simply change your mind, find the product cheaper elsewhere, choose the wrong product, dislike a flavour, or no longer want the product, unless required by law or expressly stated in this policy. The ACCC confirms that change-of-mind refunds are not required under consumer guarantees, but businesses must still honour any change-of-mind policy they choose to offer.

2. Food product returns

Because FLOK sells food products, we generally cannot accept returns for change of mind once a product has been shipped, opened or handled.

For food safety and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of opened, used or partially consumed products unless the product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise required to be accepted under Australian Consumer Law.

If you believe there is an issue with your product, please contact us as soon as possible at sup@flokyeah.com.

3. Damaged, faulty or incorrect products

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

Contact us as soon as possible if:

  • your product is damaged;
  • your product appears faulty;
  • you received the wrong item;
  • your order is missing an item;
  • the product appears unsafe or not as described.

Please email sup@flokyeah.com with:

  • your order number;
  • your full name;
  • a description of the issue;
  • clear photos of the product, packaging, shipping box and any damage or batch details, where relevant.

We may ask you to provide further information or return the product so we can assess the issue.

If we determine that the product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, unsafe or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

This may include a replacement, refund, store credit or another suitable remedy, depending on the circumstances.

4. Change of mind

We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind on food products.

This includes situations where:

  • you no longer want the product;
  • you ordered the wrong product;
  • you dislike the taste, texture or flavour;
  • you found the product cheaper elsewhere;
  • you purchased too much;
  • you did not use the product;
  • your personal preference or circumstances changed.

This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law if there is a problem with the product.

5. Subscriptions

If you have a FLOK subscription, you are responsible for managing your subscription before your next renewal order is processed.

Subscription changes, skips or cancellations must be made before the renewal order is processed.

If a subscription order has already renewed, been charged, packed, fulfilled or dispatched, we may not be able to cancel, refund or change that order unless required by law.

6. Sale items, discount codes and promotions

Sale items, discounted items, promotional items, bundle offers and products purchased using discount codes are subject to the same Australian Consumer Law protections as any other product.

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement for sale or discounted items simply because you change your mind.

If a sale, discounted or promotional product is faulty, damaged, unsafe, incorrectly supplied, not as described, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, we will provide an appropriate remedy as required by law.

7. Gift cards

Gift cards are not refundable for change of mind.

This does not affect any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws.

8. Return process

Before sending any product back to us, you must contact us at sup@flokyeah.com.

Please do not send products back without contacting us first.

If we need you to return a product for assessment, we will provide instructions on how and where to send it.

Products sent to us without first contacting us may not be accepted or processed.

9. Return shipping

Where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, unsafe or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs where required by law.

For any return we choose to accept outside your legal rights, we may require you to cover return shipping costs.

We will confirm any return shipping arrangements with you before you send the product back.

10. Refunds

If a refund is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method where possible.

Refunds are usually processed within 10 business days after approval.

Your bank, payment provider, credit card provider, PayPal, Afterpay, Shopify Payments or other payment provider may take additional time to process and show the refund in your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund, please contact us at sup@flokyeah.com.

11. Exchanges

We do not generally offer exchanges for change of mind.

If you received the wrong product, or if a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described, please contact us at sup@flokyeah.com and we will assess the issue.
