playful on the outside. serious on the inside.
If you can’t tell by now, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. But we do take our bars very seriously.
They might look like the nostalgic childhood treats we grew up with, but they’re built to perform.
Each FLOK bar has been developed with, and reviewed by, an accredited Sports Dietitian and Performance Nutritionist.

FAQ
-
FLOK is designed for pre-session fuel. As a guide, eat one around 20–45 minutes before training, or during longer sessions when you need extra energy. Depending on intensity of your session, and other factors, you may want to eat two (for 40g of carbs).
You can eat them during training, especially during longer sessions or events where you need extra fuel. For shorter sessions, it is more likely to be useful before training. For longer sessions, it can be used as part of a broader fuelling plan.
-
No. FLOK is an energy bar, not a protein bar. It includes collagen, but the main job is to provide carbohydrate-based fuel before or during training.
-
FLOK is made for high-output training like HYROX-style events, CrossFit-style sessions, running, cycling, BJJ, functional fitness classes, team sport and endurance training. It’s for sessions where you need usable energy that won’t weigh you down.
-
That’s the idea. FLOK is low in fibre and fat, with a light rice-crispy texture, so it is designed to feel easier before training than dense bars, heavy snacks or high-fibre products. Current bars contain 1.4g fibre and just over 2g fat per serve.
-
Because carbs are the body’s preferred fuel source for higher-intensity exercise. Each bar is around 65% carbohydrate, making it more of a training fuel than a protein bar or diet snack.
-
Sugar alcohols and gums are often used in diet, protein and 'low sugar' bars to add sweetness, texture or bulk without adding much sugar.
The problem is, for some people, they can cause bloating, gas or gut discomfort- especially around training, when your stomach is already under pressure.
FLOK is made without sugar alcohols or gums because it’s built as training fuel, not a diet bar. The goal is simple: usable energy that sits lighter when you’re about to move.
-
It means FLOK uses carbohydrate sources that provide both glucose and fructose. Together, they help support steady, usable energy and efficient carbohydrate uptake during training.
-
FLOK contains almonds. It may also contain peanuts and other tree nuts due to the processing line.
